Variety: 100% Gamay – 35 & 43-year-old vines

Appellation: IGP Val de Loire (VDP), France – Touraine–Chenonceaux

Vineyard: Choussy

Soil: Sandy topsoil sitting on top of a thick layer of excellent smectite clay.

Winemaking: Handpicked, foot trod in fermentation barrels. Barrel fermented and 9 months on lees in one and two-year-old French oak.

Technical: Alc./Vol. 12.5% | Residual sugar 0.4 g/L | Free/Total Sulphur levels 22/90 mg/L | Bottled July 2011 | Production 1,200 bottles
