Great Wine Estates Quo Vadis Tastings 8 May 2018

On 8 May, Great Wine Estates in collaboration with our handpicked collection of iconic, regionally authentic, sustainable and family owned estates presented a flight of en primeur and new release wines from:

Voyager Estate (Margaret River), Levin Wines (Loire Valley), Roco Winery (Oregon) Leogate Estate (Hunter Valley), Wanted Man (Heathcote), Valderiz (Ribera del Duero) et al.

We received an wonderful response from the trade, as well as the private members at Quo Vadis in Soho; especially those who joined us for the winemaker's lunch and dinner, with Voyager Estate Head Winemaker, Steve James.

Steve joined us fresh from the Western Australian #V18 for an intimate vertical tasting from museum wines to current vintages and an exploration of Margaret River’s most important Chardonnay clone, Mendoza. The impressive vertical included:

2004, 2006, 2009 Voyager Estate Chardonnay

2006, 2007, 2001 Voyager Estate Shiraz

2001, 2004, 2008 Voyager Estate Cabernet Merlot

Matched to a three-course menu designed by Quo Vadis Chef Jeremy Lee; in the historic Marx Room.
